I'm experimenting more with GIMP and found some cool stuff. I'm looking for tutorials to animate though and add potato pictures to my sigs without it looking horrible.

Gimp's great. interface can be a bit of a mindfuck for the beginner, but nearly as powerful as photoshop cs3. Cs4 brings in some crazy shit like 3d layers but I love gimp. If you ever have some trouble with the interface check out sumopaint. www.sumopaint.com
it's all inside your browser in flash 10. you can save stuff to the website under an account and it's far better for digital painting than photoshop is. i use it all the time with stuff. i'm thinking i should make my own sig actually now...
