Go to a super market or drug store. Buy a Visa/master card or amex GIFT CARD (NOT PRE_PAID CREDIT CARDS) for $25/50 or 100 bucks. Take it home go online and regitser it with your name and address ( website address on back of GIFT CARD) then use that just like a credit card in the PS Store.
It's that simple any age can buy and use them, There is no credit check involved. It's 100% seperate from any other credit card you might have. It's simple and available now.
Why wait for the Playstation card when you don't need it??

Yeah you can buy them at places like target or walmart drug stores grocery stores etc...
You buy a $25 VISA gift card pay an addotional $3 activation fee. Then go home go online to the web address on the back of the card and register it for online use. You can use it offline once you but it but you need to activae the online purchasing on that website on back of card. NO AGE RESTRICTIONS. All you have to enter is your name and address. Make sure they are the same as your PSN account. Then add funds to your PS Store wallet using the card number of the gift card and expiration date. Treat the gift card just like a credit card.
It's really simple and perfectly safe. No social security numbers. Once the funds have been spent from the gift card it closes that account. So if you want to add funds later on down the road you would have to get another gift card.

As far as I know the rechargeable ones don't work but feel free to test it I would like to know if they do I removed my CC info from my ps3 so I could share with my clan mates.

Wal Mart has reloadable Visa Cards, They are Visa and should work fine.
