First off. Disturb and Metallica? wow, i can see Metallica especially their 80s thrash stuff, which is classic but they've pretty much been putting out absolute filth since 1989, and Disturb is just another laughable run of the mill 90s Nu Metal band.

Well at least Metallica won, but id put so many more bands above them it isnt funny.

Also just to let you guys know i'm pretty much a music nerd. I got about 2 External HDs and a 30 gig zune filled with music, of all genres also. Big into Metal and Hardcore punk, but i also like alot of Indie and Jazz.

also, ive seen GoGol Bordello, they arent that great live and i thought their last 2 albums were about a 7/10, when it comes to the folk punk hybrid music The Pogues will never be surpassed. But i will say Voi-La Intruder was a pretty good record (theyre debut) but also its hard for me to really put them up on a pedestal when they're on the same label as Flogging Molly who is a much better folk punk band.

wow hey cool hey Phil.

Metalica vs Disturbia was the previous one the new one has not been decided yet but i am pushing for.

Flogging Mollly. huh i thought i had heard them but i must be thinking of another band. the sound is somewhat reminicent of Stiff Little Fingers.

Gogol Bordello :_)

Stiff Little Fingers was more or less straightforward punk rock, and Flogging Molly is alot more folk, Ala The Pogues which is basically who theyre basically a copy of, but i do like FM alot. But yeah FM is alot more Fiddle, Pan Flute, and String Bass. Stiff Little Fingers was more guitar focused and just Nothern Irish Punk, alot like very early U2

yeah i would have to agree with you but i diverge at the point of U2 never liked them. I give Stiff LIttle fingers much more cred for being sterotypical punk more so then the U2 phenomonon. meh. my prejucdices dont belong here. Maybe i was thinking of molly hatchet. ha. man floging molly sounds familar but i have never listened to them. the singer reminded me of the singer for stiff little fingers. the melody rytham sense too.
